Three days in a post hotel, two days in a fabulous hotel connected to one of my favorite stores, and a nine hour flight that had its moments…we have arrived! Alaska welcomed us with frigid temperatures (from the 80’s in Texas to the 20’s here) and snow, it’s beautiful! I’ll admit, it’s going to take a little getting used to, the time change, the temperatures, and the dark/light thing that’s going on, but I think it’s going to be alright.
We ventured out around town today and found some things that are familiar to us and some things that are new and interesting. This town is rustic and I love that. I can’t wait to buy the moose shower curtain that I found in Dallas, then my bathroom will be rustic too!
